Yes, I think a 70 pan would work just fine. You'll probably want to reuse the '66 rear subframe and swing axle transmission unless you switch to IRS, in which case you'll need the hangers for the rear engine mount crossbar from the '70, and you'll have to upgrade to the 70 engine also. Heck, you could just convert to 12V at the same time and make it FI! ;-) Once you install the 70 pan, the 70 VIN becomes the official one. Interesting radio: It's a later (mid 70s, maybe even made in Japan or Taiwan) Blaupunkt with the correct early Blaupunkt mounting kit.
