Several years ago I purchased an AT for one of my "other" vehicles and the tech gave me a green looking can with a rubber hose and connector at the end that If I recall it looked like a "Fix-a-flat" aerosol can. The purpose of this was to do the same thing you are describing this machine can do. You would connect the hose of the can on the AT inlet port and disconnecting the outlet port after the oil cooler. You would let the liquid spray out flushing all foreign particles out. I don't know where he got this stuff at but I have never seen it on the FLAPS shelves. Lets just say it didi it's job of flushing my AT.
