I know this conversion has been done on a type 3. I do know that everything 
fits except the parking brake cable. The lengths are different. I've been told 
that you can modify the type 3 cable to work. The idea is to look at what they 
send you, and compare it to the type 3 cable. It will be the end of the cable 
that attaches to the parking brake part of the caliper that will be 
different. I hope this helps.
