Actually, the "3" in 113 does not mean "Super Beetle", the "113" number 
has been around far longer than the Super Beetle. As far as I know 
"113" means the higher-end "export" Beetle, as opposed to the "111" 
standard bug. That numbering really lost its original sense over the 
years, though.

I believe that for Super Beetles there was a "131" part number code.
