I never like to be in a hurry when I'm trying to do a job like this. There are just too many things that you'll need to do over to make sure of getting it right. Unless you have a lot of experience with these, I think your chances of getting a decent job done in a weekend are virtually nil. Things you should probably do, or at least consider, that would prolong this process include: Have case savers installed. (RIMCO, 2 weeks, and if you do that, you might as well have it align bored and replace the main and rod bearings at the same time.) Do a valve job and replace the exhaust valves. As for special tools, you'll want something to help pull the fan, and something to install the flywheel seal. You'll need a large socket to unscrew and torque the flywheel gland bolt, as well as some way of holding the flywheel still while you do this.
