I still have NOS mounts, but make sure you have the correct nosecone on the tranny, if I thought something was amiss perhaps it was cobbed for another nosecone mount? Hmmm Tighten all the nuts on the tranny, in the Salt belt the salt sets up electrolysis between the steel nut and washer and the Magnesium case and eats the case out under the washer and this results in loose nuts. Sounds like you found your problem.
