October 72 would have been a '73, or did you mean an October 71?

Some of the rotors have a collar machined onto them which fits nicely into the 
early center hole and makes wheel mounting easier. I think the angled hole 
doesn't fit as well.

It's quite possible that we're not talking about the same things, since words 
sometimes fail us in these descriptions.
