Okay, here's what I have: A NOS German Bosch voltage regulator, Bosch part # 0 190 215 032. It is marked 7V 45A and has the standard mounting feet for mounting on a flat surface. There is no wire loop or pigtail lead. This one has two 1/4" male spade connections: DF & 61. one dual 3/8" male spade connection: B+, and a bolted connection: D+. It LOOKS exactly like the late 12V VR, except for the rating stampings. It's old, but nothing has ever been connected to the terminals. I note that on the bottom the resistor appears to be in perfect condition, and the little copper colored diode that I'm used to seeing in the 12V VRs from this era is not present in this 6V unit. Were they never there? -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
