It's not uncommon for the early cars to have been updated, usually for 
the disk brakes that replaced the front drums in 1966. Mine had been 
converted to front disks with 4-lug wheels up front because the 
previous owner's mechanic couldn't find replacement parts for the 
original front brakes. I've since switched back to the original drum 
brakes and wide-five wheels.
