Tell her it's an investment in the future as it's worth will never go down from the price you paid. I think if you talk to her about it, she'll have an open mind and let you get it. Although there might be a side deal involved, like finishing one of your other projects. : )I know I had a bunch of parts laying around and could buildsomething, and I did.
