I am in a tough situation. The car that I have had my eye on for a long, long time, that has been sitting in a driveway for many years, has a for sale sign in the back window! It is a 66 Variant, is the light cream color. It is all original, and looks to be all stock. I think it's the only European version of a Squareback I've ever seen in Oregon. Has the marker lights on the front fenders too. The asking price is $900. I don't really have the cash, and I don't need another car, but it is too nice of a car to pass up. It's in much better shape than any of my current cars, but I just can't get rid of any of them. So, should I hide it from the wife, and tell her I built it with all the parts in my garage?? I think that would be pretty funny, especially if it was in the garage and I opened it as I told her that I assembled all the parts. She did buy herself a nice diamond ring a while ago for approximately the same price. You single people just won't understand these things... And here's the kicker. I have a $1000 check sitting in my pocket from some work I just finished.
