Ok, found one site the had a pretty definitive statement about the whole subject. See below.Interesting site, but I always thought that the sidewall percentage was
85% if it wasn't specifically called out (like on our 165/15 stock
tires.) I know we have had this discussion before but don't remember
the final conclusion. I will have to run out and measure the
circumference of one of Sophy's stock tires and back calculate what the
percentage is.
Anyone know for sure what the sidewall percentage is?
I just went out and looked at mine. Coopers 165R15 M&S 86T I always thought stock tires were 75's. Maybe I am wrong.
