OK, now that I have installed 195/50-15 tyres on my notch I have screwed up the accuracy of the speedo. I am not really too concerned about this because I am actually going slower than what the speedo shows, so there is no risk of a speeding ticket. I use this car only in the city (i.e. No FWY driving) so I am not making the car work too hard to keep up with the flow of traffic. However, I wanted some advice on whether I can make adjustments to the speedo myself in order to make it more accurate. I also wonder if I can figure out the percentage the diameter has changed and thus increase the speed (in my head) by that much more: For example, let's say that from 165-15 to 195/50-15 the diameter decreased by 3%, thus I can go 3% faster than what the speedo shows and still keep under or at the speed limit. -- Petri 71 Notch ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
