There's a lot of things that have to be right for this to work. We can buy 
almost any wire with this resistance if we are free to pick any size, but only 
a certain range of sizes is practical. In addition to its conductivity we also 
need to worry about its corrosion resistance and whether it would form an oxide 
layer that would insulate it from the float.. It also needs to be solderable.
