I was previously told that the fuel damper was to prevent noise, but I just read in the Muir book that it's actually to even out any pressure surges from the electronic fuel pump. As such, I'd leave it there if it's there (I did take it out & replaced all fuel lines to and from it). You will still need a fuel filter here placed before the pump. Also, plan on a LOT of fuel hose. I can't remember how much I used for the complete job, but I believe it was in the range of 20-25 feet. A few people on the list have warned about using the braided hose, as recent batches have cracked in a year or so (which means I have to do this all again in another year). Next time I will be just pick up a 25' spool of this: http://www.goodyearbeltsandhose.com/truck/inject.html I got my FI clamps here... They arrived quickly and work great: http://www.cgenterprises.com/fuel_injection.htm Hope this helps. ===== Aaron Clow Two Squares & a Fastback http://www.tiserves.com/VW/ __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
