I'd think we could work in 3 a day: morning, early afternoon, and late afternoon. As long as the sun is more bearable than it was in the Parma Motor View I doubt that would be a problem, unless you have other things in mind. Topics I'd volunteer for: FI (naturally ;-), brakes, electrical system.... Other possible topics: Cleaning out the water drain tubes, door drain holes, and other drains Rust areas and rust proofing Recovering seats Carb tuning, linkages and linkage adjustment Steering and suspension I'd like to see a kind of quiz, where a number of parts are passed around in cloth bags. Each person can stick his/her hand in the bag and feel the part as much as (s)he likes, without looking at it. Then you have to write down what you think it is and where it goes. Ice cream cone for the best guesser. There should be a healthy mix of early and late parts, contributed by everyone who comes. You don't get credit for a part that you brought. Parts you brought are returned to you after the "test." -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
