[T3] Marin County, Calif. ("Lagoon") show report

	I had a fun time today at the Marin County fairgrounds show. 
It's put on by the same folks who do Vallejo, but I found it to be a 
good deal nicer overall -- like Vallejo but with nicer surroundings, 
no engine blow, no burnout contest, no bikini event, but a bit 
smaller swap.

	Four Squarebacks, a Notch, and a T34.  (Oh, and did I see a 
custom Notch pulling out? Maybe arrived late?)  Fellow Typ 3 Kultur 
member Aldo was there with his '69 Squareback.  Hal was there, sans 
his Oregon-stuck Fastback.

I've been working on "presentation" -- cleaning the car up, laying 
out literature, showing some accessories and the like.  Still trying 
some things out, but I feel like I'm making some progress.

	Had lots of nice chats with other showgowers, and a general 
good time.  I would brag that I brought home first place in stock 
Type III, but first place was also last place in this category today. 
;)  It's my first first, though, and I did make a good effort to show 
the car, so I'll say that I earned it well enough. :)
