Not necessarily a comment on this mounting but just an FYI. The other day on one of those anique/classic car tv shows, they had a retailer that designed a speaker specifically for under the seat. It was suppose to project the sound as best you could being under the seat and all. Unfortunately, I don't know the retailers name. This is something I have been contemplating, just so I don't have to replace my sometimes rattling dash speaker. If I find who makes it and the cost, I'll let you know.
