Holy crap, you're right... I just looked at the '72 wiring diagram in the Bentley and the extra wires in the battery area are there, whereas they weren't in the '71, plus wires around the VR are the right colors now. I was wondering how I could be having so much trouble reading the electrical diagrams! Sheesh... I'm an idiot. If I had just looked at the next page. :) This is a July car though. The only way to fix this is to replace the > battery. Battery was replaced when I first got the car.
