First, please don't include ALL of the previous message at the bottom of your message. That just wastes disk space in the server. Then, start at the beginning. You've established that the FI is not working and that the ignition is working. First things first. When you turn the key ON do you hear a relay click and then a second click about 1 second later? (You should.) If so, do you hear the fuel pump run during this ~1 second? (You should.) If so, if you leave the key ON and go to the engine and depress the throttle, can you hear a series of tiny clicks each time you press the throttle down? (You should.) Try these tests and let us know what you observe. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
