Hey NorCal Volk,
    Don't forget there's the First Annual VW's Downtown Show this Sunday,
Sept 21st.  It's being put on in Lodi, CA (30 mins south of Sacramento) by
the VW club I'm part of, Deutsch Stahl Nor Cal, and all proceeds are donated
to charity.  Details are below.

Deutsch Stahl Nor Cal would like to invite you to Downtown Lodi for our 1st
Annual VW's Downtown Show. Bring the whole family and enjoy the many
shopping and dining options and the beautiful scenery that Downtown Lodi has
to offer. The show will run from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. There will also
be a raffle. Cost is only $10.00 to show and admission is free for
spectators.

This is a participant judged show and 1st through 3rd awards will be given
in the following 8 classes.
-Type I Early Beetle (46-67)
-Type I Late Beetle (68-79)
-Type II Transporter (All Years)
-Type III Squareback, Fastback, Notchback (All Years)
-Karmann Ghia (All Years)
-Special Interest / Off-Road / Baja
-Under Construction
-Water Cooled
There will also be an award for "People's Choice" and a "Club Participation
Award" for the VW Club with the most VW's in attendance and registered.

Directions:
-From Hwy 99 Northbound: Take the Kettleman Lane Exit, turn Left and go
under the Freeway, Turn Right on Cherokee Lane, Turn Left on Lodi Avenue,
Turn Right on Church, Turn Right on Pine Street.
-From Hwy 99 Southbound: Take the Turner Road Exit and proceed straight onto
Cherokee Lane, Turn Right on Lodi Avenue, Turn Right on Church, and Turn
Right on Pine Street.
-From I5: Take Hwy 12 East, turn Left on Lower Sacramento Road, turn Right
on Lodi Avenue, turn Left onto Church, turn Right onto Pine Street.
Note: Once you reach Pine Street via Church Street there will be a DSNC
Member to direct you to a parking spot.
