Re: [T3] I'm seeing spots!

Hi Volks,

Or, the 3/65 speedo was installed in a 3/65, (or a
manufacture date close to it), car at a later date as
the car was readied for US delivery. My '65 Notch has
the 10-30-50-70-100, (I really need to check for a
date on the case). And I know that like Scott's car,
(mine and Scott's are only like a 1000 away from each
other IIRC), mine was a tourist delivery car. I got
the Notch from the grandaughter of the original owner.
And she remembers her grandfather talking about the
lights, and the speedo having to be changed when it
left Germany for the US after a few weeks to a month
or so after taking delivery and touring. Should have
been plenty of time for the replacement stocks to
catch up to the car's production date. I'll try to
remember to look for a production date on my speedo,
it may shed some more light on this.

Cheers,
