Re: T3 crumle zones

<x-flowed>There was mention in a previous thread about T3 crumple zones and a wrecked car on the Samba..........

To make a long story short, I checked it out and bought it today.
'68 OG paint Fastback. rebuilt engine and tranny (with receipts) brand new stainless outside trim, polished 8 spokes, owners manuals, etc......
The only problem is the front is wasted. From the B pillar back it's ok, and the doors still good, so I'm going to pull the doors off and cut it in half through the A pillar (to keep the roof intact) then through the floor at the rear of the door jam. So if anyone is looking for nice OG paint rear 1/4's for a Square or Fasty, here they are.

Apparently the kid that owned it was going to to show it at Bug O Rama last weekend (it's that nice....) but had a few drinks one night and fell asleep on the way home and went head on into a pole. Not good.

The front is pushed back and to the passengers side *alot* . Aside from the tweaked dash, the inside didn't receive much damage.

Pictures are here...........
