Re: [T3] Panel Vans
<x-flowed>Hi Steve, and welcome to the list!
The Panels are very rare these days. The reason for this is that most of
these cars wre used as smaller alternatives to teh Transporter, and as
such, lived a pretty hard life. The cars were usually neglected and
driven to scrap. Another reason that makes Panels rare is that the few
that werent used as Transporter alternatives often got the panel pieces
cut out and windows installed to make them into station wagons.
I know of the latter example first hand. A few years before I was born,
my parents bought a 64 Panel and got it converted into a Variant.
With that being said, does anyone know where I could get hold of a set
of panel inserts for the windows? I would like to make my 70 into a
panel :D Aluminium sheets in place of the glass, held by the rubber is
my closest call right now!

Hi,
I'm new to the list. I have just bought an Australian Type 3 Panel van here
in Sydney. Does anyone have any info on these, and their rarity value. Its a
67 in Ruby Red.
Thanks
