Alright, my motor is beyond repair, main bearings are gone, crank thread is bad and the case is really not salvageable. I was thinking of buying a 1776 from Importmotors (in Anaheim) but running my 32's PDSIT's on it for the time being. 1. I had a s/p, do I need d/p tin to do this? I know i need the manifolds, but is the actual cooling tin different? 2. Has anyone heard of the quality of these guys motors, www.importmotors.com ? Thanks for any fast responses, I sold one of my other vehicles and drive daily to work, about 7 miles each way, so I need to get this going again. Also is anyone in the SoCal area that has a good longblock they'd like to sell?
