I think this thread has gotten off track. While a terminal 31 is generally a 
ground, the OP in this case was asking about a FI wiring harness wire marked 
with the number 31. In THIS case, this is NOT a ground wire. It is just wire # 
31 in the FI wiring harness, which should connect to the starter solenoid 
(which is not a ground.)
