I'm still on my first tune-up, third oil change after putting the engine back in. As soon as I get back to NY (I'm in NH for a couple days working on the two VW's up here), I'm planning on tuning the whole thing up again, start to finish. After that I should probably get my wheels/tires balanced if I'm not going to put a new set on soon. I'm not used to this type of steering, so I'm not sure how much wobble I'm actually feeling. Steering seems very straight and I have a slight wobble around 50mph, but nothing before or after... I guess we'll see. Maybe I'm just still paranoid since I rebuilt the top end and am still not too confident in my abilities. :) I'm sort of gathering that these engines can take a lot though before something drastic happens, so as long as it seems to be running solid and cool for these 150 or so miles I've driven it so far, all is good? I dunno... ===== Aaron Clow - http://www.tiserves.com/VW/ '71 FI AT Square - On the Road '71 FI AT Fasty - Off the Road '71 AT Square - the Parts Bin __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
