Enjoyable and a little nervewracking getting used to
the peculiarities of a Type 3. Plus, it was sputtering
a little this morning, but I promised it if it got me
home tonight after work (giving me almost a full week
of service after being out of commission for several
years) I was gonna treat it to a full tuneup, oil
change, fuel filler neck fix, etc. Hopefully that will
make it worth its while.

On another note, I have no idea how some of you folks
get these cars up to the "crusing speed" of 84mph. I
hit 70 and it feels like the engine could rev right
out of its mounts. And the automatics have a higher
final drive? Yipes...
