Jack,
Thank you so much for letting us know this. This list my seem to outsiders
like a bunch of car nuts without a life but it's a rich source of information
and it does wonders at keeping our hobby alive. Many of us won't meet
face-to-face, simply knowing each other as a signature at the end of a message
or simply as an email address. Even though we may be faceless we are like a
family and Don was a helpful person. I am greatly saddened because...well,
we've seen members come and go and even return but never has one died that I
know of. This is a very sad moment in the history of this list and Don will be
missed. Please pass along my sorrow and empathy to his family.
Going through my T3 email archive, I show this to be his last email, a response
to David Nelson.:
----------Sept. 17, 2003----------
> My mps has gone to heaven and I'm in need of another.
> Any help,or facsimile thereof,would be appreciated.
What, pray tell, is an MPS?
----------
We know where Don is, he's looking in the engine compartment of a perfectly
restored Type III that has David's manifold pressure sensor.
