It's not an easy fix, but I've made the tools to do this without damaging the unit. Even with knowing exactly what I'm doing, it takes me about 2 hours to complete. I charge $55 for this repair, which also includes a bit of cleanup and lubrication, but I can't do any cosmetic work. Turnaround time is 2 weeks or less; usually less than a week. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
