Well my old 70 Square that came from the "Tex-oma" area of Texas had pop outs when I got it, and it still has them. The car however is also back in Texas. I gave it to my dad for a combination birthday/Christmas present (his birthday is a week before Xmas). The 71 Square I have here, had the slots and larger holes for the latches, but no pop outs. I think they were still missing a few parts to be able to install them. My 69 had them at one time, as there is still imprints of the latches on the "C" post, but one of its PO's replaced them with non pop out glass and seals. I have the windows to return them back, but haven't gotten around to it. I think they might have been still an option in 71, but were dropped completely in 72. I hope this helps.
