So, out at the BLTN show yesterday at Volks Authority in San Jose. At the end of the show, I strike a deal for a clamp-on metal Bug roof rack. Buy it now, figure out later how to get it home. Tie it to the Squareback roof rack, maybe? Hey, wait a minute... Put the Square's rear seat down in cargo mode. Got my big cooler in there up front, backpack, some grocery bags... toss in the Bug roofrack in the rear of the cargo area, put my 35"x30"x14" luggage bage w/ internal frame on top of the Bug rack. Still have room on each side of the rack, and can see out the top portion of the rear window via the rear veiw mirror. Heck, there's even room *under* the Beetle roof rack, 'cuz it's standing up on its legs.
