I guess I'll have to study this and see if I can make sense out of it. ;-) I have to admit that I had not read down far enough to see that he had really studied this in detail. There's lots of food for thought here. This page is written for 914s but most of it can be applied to our pressure sensors, however you would need specific data for YOUR pressure sensor to do the calibration. Unless you had a known good unit to compare to, I don't think you'd want to just use his 914 numbers to go from. Where did you get the numbers you used for your recalibration, and what version (year) is your FI? > Oh yeah,Jim,do you still "re-do" dizzies?I've got major radial slop > (up and down) and can't seem to be able to budge the bottom pin without > major bashing. Yes, I do. Up and down would be axial play, which should be fairly easy to correct. It's a little hard to define "major" however. Some axial play is normal. Price for a rebuild is $55, including return shipping. Major parts, if needed, are extra, but they are seldom needed. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
