I suspect the original Hi/Lo relay was a 311 941 588A. This is a larger metal
box, about 6 x 4 x 3.5 cm. It's a Bosch 0 332 515 018. The little cubes are for
the later (71-3) cars which got the fuse boxes with the relay sockets built in.
The number above is what was used in 68-70 type 3s, and maybe 67, too. It has a
clip on its top which allows it to snap into a hole that is WAY up high under
the dash. I suspect that type 34s used the same part, but I can't be sure about
that.

The 411 C part is actually a nice part, as it has the provision for flashing
the headlights even when they are off. It needs an extra wire to make this
work. The actual part used in late type 3s was a 311 or 113 part, but the relay
socket can have the extra wire added to support the 411C.

Both the 411C and the correct 311A part have the clip on top to mount in a
punched hole in your sheet metal. They are the only 2 relays to my knowledge
that have this clip.

I have one of the correct 311A relays here.

I have a number of fuse box covers here. All the late covers will interchange,
but the molded icons may differ. It's really hard for me to remember the
differences, as they didn't always seem to agree with the car, even when the
cars were new. I could compare what I have with the fuse descriptions in the
Bentley and see if I have something that appears to match up.

I have parts that would work here, but I'm not familiar with this part. My type
3s don't have foglamps.

The bottle might be the same as used on 68-70 type 3s. Is it horizontal with a
neck in the middle and an extra stud to one side to mount hanging down from a
pair of holes in the bracket? 68-70 got bottles that were pressurized from the
spare tire, but earlier ones have a Schrader valve installed instead of the
extra stud, so they were pressurized directly. The "stud" is the same diameter
and position as the earlier Schrader valve, so you can sub one for the other.

Our cars don't have a separate bracket, the bottles just mount in the same lip
that the front hood latch is rivited to. I'm surprised you need a separate
part.
