Even then I wasn't sure it was worth it. The "cost" to me was $10 for the 
fender, $35 for gas and tolls, and 8 hours of my time. That's pretty expensive. 
I just hope I need it someday. Too bad he didn't have anything else to make the 
trip more worthwhile.

Yes, highway miles are the best. I could even tell a big difference between 
those miles spend into the wind and those with the wind.
