Did you say that it gets it fuel from the engine fuel pump? What is the fuel pressure at the pump. What is that solenoid looking thing on top the heater? Is this a fuel pump? > Ok, I'll let it run for a while. The fan is spinning very fast and sounds quiet but I'll oil it anyway. Yes, the fuel comes from the engine fuel pump. The solenoid mounted on top turns the fuel supply to the gas heater on/off and it also appears to reduce the pressure to 1 psi, judging by some markings on the label.
