OK, I did a quick GOOGLE search and came up with this site: http://www.butler.it/index_fr.html You need to click on the "The Butler Passport" link on the left side to go to the index of the technical data. Look in Chapter 2, Sections 10 and 11. They have a pretty good description of the rim designations. Turns out the "J" describes the rim edge shape as described in Chapter 2.11.0 on this site. It has nothing to do with the safety hump. The different safety humps are described in Chapter 2.10.0 right above it. Hope this clears up a few things.
