Could > either of these be considered OE? If it came from the factory on any car, then it qualifies as OE, even though it would then not be OE for all years. If it came out after the model was discontinued, so that it was sold as a genuine VW replacement part, but never came originally with any of the cars of that model, then that gets grey.
