That wire is just slightly to the left of center at the front of the engine compartment. The easiest way to check this circuit is to just hold the fuel pump relay while you crank the starter. This generally makes so much noise that you can't hear the relay clicks, but you should be able to feel them. Just crank the starter for a couple of seconds and then stop.
