If you are putting 3/4 qt of oil into the each valve cover, You have a
problem. It is not returning to the crankcase fast enough either. That
is 1 1/2 qt's in the top of the engine. That only leaves 1 1/4 qt's for
the rest of the engine. Stuff some pipe cleaners into the push rods to
slow it down.
An old racers trick.
