Serves me right for not listening to people here. I re-cut the end of the pressure sensor hose on the air-intake side and reattached it, thinking that would be good enough and that I really didn't want to go through the pain of putting a clamp on it. I didn't realize it at first, but I had used 5/16" hose on that instead of the 7mm that it looked like would be a nice snug fit. So I finally took peoples' suggestions and put a clamp on it. Problem solved. Well, mostly. It seems part of the problem with the high idle is that my throttle is sticking just a little because the spring doesn't pull the throttle closed all the time, only when I punch the throttle & let it go quickly. But at least it's running so much better & not sputtering anymore. Thanks again folks... ===== Aaron Clow - http://www.tiserves.com/VW/ '71 FI AT Square - On the Road '71 FI AT Fasty - Off the Road '71 AT Square - the Parts Bin __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
