Ok, when the boss says come clean soon, I guess he means it. Gas (fuel) is close, those little 'blips' are indeed bubbles, but I heard it when refilling the reservoir with brake fluid after replacing the m/c. The bubbles of air coming back into the reservoir made this very regular and repeating sound. Each filling of the reservoir was followed by many sets of the five bubble sounds. The background sounds are probably just traffic on a nearby road. Useless info, I'm afraid, but curious just the same. No doubt someone somewhere could make it the subject of a PhD, based on the rate of exchange of gaseous and liquid fluids in a narrow tube. ;-) I promise not to do it again! Dave.
