DOT 5 Even I am a Silicone brake fluid proponent! Put in my fathers T Bird in 87 and its still fine... and that car see's little use. Been in the Notch since 97, no problems, Opel since around 98 or so and that system wasnt completely rebuilt... still fine with no problems. The only thing I notice is the the pedal on Sili cars seems a bit spongy, I dont notice it during normal use but when really laying into it statically it seems to have alot of travel even when bled properly.
