What about cutting the two pieces in the same place, say just in front of the rear most window. That way they would be the same size. Well- I hate to tell you all this but ....we do have a BBQ t3 in the works, It is a very rusty fastback! We also tried to graft the back of another squareback to the front of the trailer ( two hatches..wayyy cool...) but we didn't take into consideration that the back section is narrower than the middle of the car! There was at least 5 inches all around the section...to much fab work for me . So we went with the easiest solution. maybe in the future the trailer will have more changes to it. I plan on putting a Ice chest under the motor lid..a great way to carry one. I really want to add a pop top to the roof (camper bus style) but that might be getting carried away. Also as a side note anyone out there running air shocks on the back of your T3? We lowered the trailer last night (really low) and were think about making it a bit adjustable with air shocks...I guess it could be air bagged also ...but the shocks would be an easy fix. thanks Martin Magnia DDB Portland OR ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
