[T3] Notchback diary...The assembly continues


Good rainy afternoon to everyone. Well, the assmbly of my '73 Notch continues. I'm
finding that all the parts that I tried to bag and label so carefully a year or so ago,
well some parts are missing, some are beyond repair, others are not as labled as well as
I thought they were. It's like a giant jigsaw puzzle with no instructions. And it rains
every afternoon, hard. Took me two days to put in the bushing on the shift rod, one day
of which was just unbolting and rebolting the coupler. After I was done I found that the
front tranny mount was torn, dropping the nose about an inch and making it next to
impossible to line it up again. DUH.  AAR, here's a picture of where we stand this
afternoon, just before it started raining again. Look
