Hey everyone, need some advice. I have a 1970 Type 3 Squareback w/Automatic tranny. I am having trouble starting her. I replaced the condensor, points, and cap/rotor button because of no spark and other electrical issues. During the process I did remove the distributor and replaced it back while the engine was TDC. I had the notch pointing to no. 1 when it was tightened. I have spark at all 4 plugs and gas is flowing but it won't start. It backfired some but now just cranks. Could my timing be that far off? I have worked down through Speedy Jim's page and can't seem to find the solution. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
