When it comes to 'dismantling a car I would prefer a Sawzall, particularly because there are several layers of metal that normally need to be cut. I think there's 4 or 5 separate layers of metal in the pillars. Plus, the cars have been pretty crudy and some parts coated in oil/grease/something-black-n-stainworthy! I try to collect as many little parts that I can, including sections of wiring and grommets that just seem to be T3-specific :-) I try to be the voice of reason with Martin but when he gets that Sawzall in this hands...watchout!!! :-p Toby Erkson -- air_cooled_nut@pobox.com '72 VW Squareback, '95 VW Jetta, '81 Gold Wing http://www.icbm.org/ Portland, Oregon ----- Original Message ----- > How many blades would buy you a plasma cutter? :) ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
