The next best thing would be to get the rear "sub frame" with AT attached to it so that you would have all the parts including the hard to find AT tranny mount, and the AT only sized drive axles.If you can try to get the AT pedal cluster and shifter with cable too. I think you mentioned in an earlier thread that you could get a type3 AT with the motor still attached to it, if so this is a good way to go as it will give you the type3 only drive plate for the AT. The AT is a very durable piece, and parts are still available for them. I hope this helps.
