It is always interesting to hear the details. This is right along the lines of 
what I was expecting, although I never would have come up with the frame horn 
extensions (which weren't necessary, if I understood this correctly.) 

Part of the human psychology of this that is always interesting is that I think 
it is almost certain that the PO was extremely proud of everything you 
mentioned here. Pretty sad stuff.
