[T3] My Pistons and stuff

Hey Jim, Whats up? Well yes, they were 3 piece rings and I did have them
overlapped. Didn't damage the pistons whatsoever just made the car EAT
oil very annoying.. 3 quarts of oil to go 450 miles.. So lame... What a
shame.. Anyways.. Why did I replace the pistons?? Well I just happened
to have a set of stock pistons and jugs sittin in my garage and I wanted
to do it completely stock. Seems to have more power though and that's
nice. The only adverse affect that the oil ring did was make a thick
layer or crusty oil on the top of the pistons which I have cleaned off.
And it left the same gunk in the combustion chamber and on the valves.
But I cleaned that out b4 I put that together. And I used the other
jugs. And as for wear on the cyl walls.. Well it doesn't look to bad
really. But I busted a few of the damn fins trying to get the jugs off..
(NEVER USE HARD FORMING PERMATEX!) I had to use gasket eater eventually
to get them off. But the piston wear was minimal I think. And below the
top of those pistons that was dirty they still look brand new. And I
never noticed that they had shorter skirts on them until I held them up
next to my stock pistons. And I guess they could be for a storker but I
have never heard of a 1600cc stroker.. Lol oh, and they are Malhe
pistons. (is that how you spell that?) I can take a picture if ya want.
Do you know anyone who can use em? I will sell em cheap. Oh, and my
bucking problem.. Hehe, the hose to my pressure sensor was realllly
loose and fell off when I touched it looking for vacum leaks.. Put it on
with a hose clamp. Runs puuuurrrrfect now. Woo!

Cheers all!
     Jason
